Coach SBR can help you reach your goals with a customized training plan. This is not a generic “one size fits all” plan. This is tailored to your life schedule and race goals, designed to help you take your training to the next level.
What’s included in a Consultation? Evaluation of past training and current fitness level. Development of future goals specific to the individual athlete, short and long term, development of an Annual Training Plan if indicated. Initial threshold test done on your bike using the Wahoo KICKR to determine current wattage FTP (functional threshold power) and Heart Rate training zones (Running plans include time trial threshold test to determine training paces).
What’s included in a Training Plan? Workouts via Training Peaks utilizing a periodization structure. These workouts include swimming, cycling and running, as well as core/strength sessions. Training plans include description of the workout, purpose of the workout (speed, strength, recovery, etc.), target heart rate and/or effort/intensity training zones for each workout. Feedback on your workout log a minimum of two times/week Taper (race prep) plans and race day nutrition/hydration advice. Training programs are custom designed for each individual athlete. Coach SBR doesn’t do “generic training plans”.

- Yearly Team Elite membership requires a commitment of a minimum of 4 months of monthly coaching.
TRIATHLON COACHING: Sherry coaches all distances of triathlon, as described below. She is also a “Long Course Specialist”, having won her AG (age group) in 3 IRONMAN races and countless 70.3 IRONMAN races. Team Elite athletes have achieved PRs in all race distances under Sherry’s guidance. Over 30 Team Elite athletes have heard those coveted words, “You are an IRONMAN” after a successful season of training with Coach SBR.
750-meter (0.47-mile) swim, 20K (12-mile) bike, 5K (3.1-mile) run
1.5K (0.93-mile) swim, 40K (25-mile) bike, 10K (6.2-mile) run
1.9K (1.2-mile) swim, 90K (56-mile) bike, and a 21.1K (13.1-mile) run (half marathon)
3.8K (2.4-mile) swim, 180.2K (112.0-mile) bike, 42.2K (26.2-mile) run (full marathon)
Sherry has excelled in all distances of racing and can help you get faster on the run! Whether you’re training for a local 10K, your first trail race, or trying to qualify for Boston, Coach SBR can get you to the start line injury free and ready for a PR!

Do you want to get stronger, faster and more endurance on the bike? Coach SBR can help you achieve this. Starting with a session at the “Cottage of Wattage” for some assessments of your current fitness level, she will develop a custom plan using the latest technology to make your riding partners beg for mercy!!

**Coach SBR schedules swim workouts in training plans which are best achieved through membership in a USMS Masters Swim Program. Coach Sherry recommends and swims with the Nova Masters Program, considered one of the best in the Country. Here’s a link to their website: http://novamasters.com/. Upon request, CoachSBR will provide specific swim workouts if an athlete chooses not to swim with a Masters program…. and Sherry is always up for an ocean swim with her athletes!!
